girly ones come is pastel shades and have pretty patterns on them, sometimes bunnies, sometimes kittens.
Also the footpads are more gentle on your feet, a bit furry.

In reality, I can't think how boards would be any different for girls or for boys :?

I dont think there are any gender specific boards, especially wrt to physical shape or design.
    But I maybe wrong.
There maybe some different graphics on some that suit different tastes

i just saw in one of the naish adverts that there was one - wasnt sure if there were others...and if there are, what they are like

though if there arent many/any womens specific boards around that presents another excellent design opportunity

we have a north cindy pro for sale it's in the boards for sale section somewhere! depending on your height and weight(touchy subject with girls) the cindy pro is smaller and narrower ,for easy er handling for the lighter person, the stance is narrower(how far you feet are apart) and smaller size footstraps. (my girlfriend has small feet). everything is relevant to your height ,weight(sorry) . if you are a big girl a normal production board will be ok. if you are smaller boards like the cindy pro, airush airforce,or possibly get one built by a specialist. try http://www.lostcauseboards.com hope this helps scotty my number is 07973216502 if you have any questions (i am expert in this field as my girlfriend is tiny and changes her board regularly!!!!)
